On the Edge Sculpture Association, the producers of the West Edge Sculpture Exhibition (WESE), is seeking art in media suitable for outdoors for installation in the 2007 WESI exhibit. Jurors for the show will be Michael Darling, curator of modern and contemporary art at the Seattle Art Museum; Gregory Robinson, executive director of the Museum of Northwest Art; and Barbara Shaiman, director of Seattle Art Mueseum's Rental/Sales Gallery. The chosen sculptures will be on display in downtown Seattle on the landings of the Seattle Art Museum, Harbor Steps and around Benaroya Hall from July 20th to October 20th 2007.
This year, as in previous years, we are proud to be Community Partners to the Seattle Art Museum. With the opening of the Olympic Sculpture Park, Seattle's focus is on sculpture!
The sculptor has been and will always remain the heart and soul of the West Edge Sculpture Invitational.
